Can't find the additional fuse box allocated BHF3 in the passenger compartment. Info I have is from car-box.info. Looking for the boot switch fuse. Seems to be one here as F9 or F20. Two fuse panels inside the glove box but no idea where the 3rd is. Boot won't open but figured check the fuse before taking any panels off.
The Passenger side Strut is solid and will not close. So boot is open to the top. If i remove the passenger side Strut and disconnect it the Drivers side Strut will close allowing the boot to close fully manually. The Electrics will not open/close the boot if only one Drivers side strut is connected. The Citroen comfortably outdoes the Ford C-MAX in terms of boot space, as that provides 432 litres, although the Volkswagen Touran offers 695 litres and a huge 1,989 litres with its rear seats
Joined: Aug 07 2006. Location: Northumberland. Never had a problem with mine not being recognised in 4.5 years and never had to change a battery either. Sounds like a problem with the immobiliser. Some early Coupe's and Hatches had to have the immobiliser changed under warranty for a similar issue to what your describing.
Car: Citroen C4. Year: 2016. Variant: 1.8 Blue hdi. Problem Categories. Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights. Overnight tailgate became heavy to lift and would not stay in position. No damping when closing and so had to be guided down to avoid slamming. No sign of damage. Bob Harris. fitted 2 electric struts from a scrapyard car, seen working. plugged into my electrics in the car but it will not open or close. When the button is pressed on the tailgate or the key fob there is a 'beep' but then nothing happens.
