100% get Definitive Edition. Also get the expansions. It's one of the best games ever made and is even far superior to AOE4. Age 2 was the great OG game whoch stood the test of time. HD made it a bit better and multiplayer, and then DE brought it to relatively modern standards and rather perfected it. Graphics are decent. DE hands down no

AoE2 HD was released in 2013. It's incompatible with AoE2:DE, so no crossplay. AoE2:DE is the better version between the two primarily because it's seeing new content and updates. Secondarily because it's better in every other way as well IMHO. MrAvidReader.
I've got the original game on disc so i'm wondering if it'd be worth it to buy this new and improved version of the game. I'm looking for opinions from people who have played this game and also the original mostly but also if you avoided this game until Definititve Edition that'd help too.
